Board of Zoning Appeals The BZA consists of seven members who serve five-year terms and are appointed by City Council. The board rules on variances to the City's Zoning Code such as setbacks for decks and fences. Members : Brent Gilmore – President Barbara Rushley – Vice President Dean Worthington – Secretary Frank Moeller Charles Boshane James Ervin Nathan Painter Bill Uttley– City Council Representative The Board of Zoning Appeals meets the third Thursday of each month at the Hilliard Municipal Building, 3800 Municipal Way, at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise advertised. The Board may or may not issue a ruling for each application at that hearing, if a case is tabled or continued.
